Welcome to MindFit Athlete: Terms of Use & Coaching Philosophy

Before diving into the formal legal terms below, it is important to establish the foundation of our work together.

Our Coaching Philosophy

You can think of coaching as “professionally facilitated change”. Rooted in the disciplines of sport and entertainment, this process is highly focused on results and growth, rather than therapy or counselling. The underlying principle of my practice is that people have the power to create their lives just as they want them to be, consistent with their vision. My role as a coach is focused on “growing the person,” not dictating or deciding your actions.

Ethics and Responsibility

As a coach, I undertake to be bound by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) Code of Ethics. However, it is vital to understand the limits of this partnership:

Not Therapy or Advice: Coaching is in no way to be construed as psychological counseling, any type of therapy, or specialist business or financial advice. I do not tell clients what to do.
Self-Directed Growth: I ask questions and use techniques designed to enable you to find your own answers. Because of this, specific coaching results are not guaranteed.
Personal Accountability: You enter into coaching with the full understanding that you are responsible for your own progress and for creating your own results.
